About Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (klia2)

The new Malaysia Airport, Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (klia2), is built to be Malaysia's Next Generation International Airport Hub that allows seamless connectivity for both local and international low-cost & full-service carriers. It is built to cater for the explosive growth in low-cost travel industry, capable of servicing 45 million passengers a year. The klia2 is officially opened on May 2, 2014.

The world's largest purpose-built terminal dedicated for low-cost carrier. It's more spacious to accommodate more people comfortably. And it has improved facilities to ease the flow of passengers, keep you entertained while you wait for your flights and provide a seamless travelling experience for everyone. It comprises two main buildings namely the Main Terminal Building (MTB) and the Satellite Building, connected with a 300-metre Skybridge.

All domestic and some international arrivals are from MTB while Satellite caters solely for international arrivals and departures. The terminal is also adjoined with an integrated complex, Gateway@klia2 that houses the Transportation Hub that serves the passengers and terminal's visitors.

klia2 is designed with flexibility in mind to allow expandability for future growth trends and operational models of airlines. It robustness in nature will no doubt be able to accommodate the ever-evolving and dynamic global aviation industry.

Adopting an intergrated transportation model for a seamless travelling experience, klia2 will provide multi-modal transportation facilities such as ERL, buses and taxis, acting as transportation hub, not only for the convenience of passengers but also the surrounding community.

Being one of the first airports in the world to allow connectivity between full service and low cost airlines, klia2 features centralised processing facilities and fully automated baggage and handling facilities.

In addition, this website is NOT subsidized, funded, sponsored, endorsed, officially approved by The Government of Malaysia, The Transport Ministry of Malaysia nor any Government Agency in Malaysia.

This website is a small web project designed and developed by two common-interest individual to search, gather, analyze, organize, categorize and publish the widely available information related to klia2 and relevant airport information, available both on the web and real world, for the sharing and benefit of travelers who will used the airport. Needless to say, It's a self-funded, community-based, ongoing project that continues to be worked on from time to time.

As we are working on tight budget and limited resources, with no official funded on operating the website, we have much regret that many suggestions, complaints, inquiries made to the administrator of this website haven't been properly handled in timely fashion.
